As far as where to stay goes, we recommend booking an Airbnb or hotel in the Cornwall-on-Hudson / Newburgh area to be closest to the house. If you want a little more “town” (restaurants, bars, walking around), Beacon is a great option too.

We aren’t doing a hotel block, so we suggest booking an Airbnb (or hotel) that fits your vibe and your weekend plans.

More options nearby (still easy):

  • Newburgh (lots of inventory, quick drive)

  • Beacon (cute, walkable, great food and drinks)

  • Cold Spring (small town, very charming)

  • Woodbury (near Woodbury Commons Outlet Shops)

If you’re booking an Airbnb, we’d recommend grabbing one early since options can go fast.

Getting there

 

Flying

If you’re flying in, the closest airport is Stewart International Airport (SWF). It’s the easiest in-and-out option and a quick drive to Cornwall-on-Hudson.

You can also fly into LGA / JFK / EWR, but expect a longer drive (and more traffic) depending on the time of day.

If you’re driving, plan a little buffer because Hudson Valley weekends can get busy.

Getting around

The Hudson Valley is easiest by car, so if you’re staying outside of Cornwall-on-Hudson we recommend driving or renting a car.

Ubers/Lyfts can be a little spotty (more available around Newburgh, less reliable out by the venue), especially later at night. For the smoothest experience, we suggest carpooling, booking a car service, or hiring a driver for the weekend.

Wedding day transportation: There will be no parking at the venue. We’ll have a shuttle to and from the Storm King School, with more details coming soon.
